【Apple】iOS 11などの発表が見込まれる「WWDC 2017」を現地時間2017年6月5日より開催

Appleが毎年デベロッパー向けに開催している発表イベント「Worldwide Developers Conference 2017（以後WWDC 2017）」を現地時間2017年6月5日から6月9日に掛けて実施することを発表しました。

昨年開催されたWWDC 2016の基調講演では、「iOS 10」「macOS Sierra」「watchOS 3」「tvOS 10」が発表されたことから、今年も恐らくはこれらの次期OSが発表されるものと思われます。

会場は昨年とは異なる「McEnery Convention Center」に変更

昨年開催されたWWDC 2016は、基調講演がサンフランシスコのBill Graham Civic Auditorium、デベロッパー向けのセッションやラボについては、同じくサンフランシスコのMoscone Westで開催されましたが、今年のWWDC 2017はカリフォルニアのMcEnery Convention Centerで開催となるようです。

チケットは例年通り1,599ドルの抽選販売

WWDC 2017のチケットは抽選販売となっており、チケット代金については、Appleのワールドワイドマーケティング担当上級副社長であるPhil Schiller氏が、TheLoopの取材に対して「以前とほぼ同じ規模となるので、チケット代金も同じになる」と述べていることから、例年通り1,599ドル（約18万円）になるものと思われます。

According to Schiller, WWDC 2017 will be about the same size as previous conferences—about 5,000 developers and 1,000 engineers. The cost of tickets to the conference will also remain the same, he said.

なおチケットは、太平洋夏時間2017年3月27日午前10時（日本時間2017年03月28日午前2時）から抽選の受付けを開始するとのことです。

Registration opens Monday, March 27 at 10:00 a.m. PDT. The opportunity to buy tickets to WWDC17 will be offered by random selection. To register, you must be a member of the Apple Developer Program or Apple Developer Enterprise Program.
